Brian Shroder assumed his role at Binance following the departure of the former CEO, Brian Brooks, who had served in that capacity for four months before leaving.
Binance.US Chief Executive Officer Brian Shroder has stepped down from his role at the cryptocurrency trading platform, as reported by several media platforms.
Chief Legal Officer Norman Reed will replace Shroder in the position on an interim basis, as confirmed by a company spokesperson.
“The actions we are taking today provide Binance.US with more than seven years of financial runway and enable us to continue to serve our customers while we operate as a crypto-only exchange,” the spokesperson said as per Reuters.
However, the company did not give any clarification regarding Brian Shroder’s resignation from Binance.US.
According to his Linkedin account, “
Brian’s experience and expertise spans several industries and multiple business functions including strategy, corporate development, business development, fundraising, regulatory and government relations, and general business operations.
With every role, he strives to positively impact the company/organization, its consumers/employees/stakeholders, and society at large.”
Brian Shroder became a part of Binance.US’s team two years ago, having previously held roles as the Head of Business Development for Global Partnerships at Ant Group and as the Head of Strategy and Business Development for Uber in the Asia Pacific region.
