Kesari, the much-anticipated film's trailer has released today, which gives us some of the interesting glimpses from the movie. The Anurag Singh directorial and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions collaboration starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra is all set to hit the theatre screens on March 21, 2019. Kesari trailer: The trailer of Bollywood’s much-awaited film Kesari starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra has been finally released by the makers and once again it has been proved that the film is certainly going ot give us goosebumps. The film is based on the Battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikh soldiers showcased their valour and bravery in the war against Afghan tribesman in 1897 losing their lives. Actor Akshay Kumar will be stepping into the shoes of the fearless Havildar Ishar Singh, who had a major role in the battle against the Afghan tribesman while Parineeti Chopra is portraying the leading lady opposite Akshay in the film.
Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Kesari, is a collaboration among Bollywood biggies Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar, which had gone on floors in January last year. In the film, the British Indian army fights against 10,000 enemies and is known to be the bravest battle ever fought in the history. The makers had yesterday announced that the trailer of the film would release today, February 21, 2019 and Akshay Kumar also took to his social media handle to post a new poster informing about the film’s trailer release.

Sharing his post on Instagram, Akshay Kumar wrote a caption which read, “The untold story of the bravest battle ever fought begins to unravel tomorrow.” The makers decision to release the trailer is to honour the Indian soldiers, lost their lives in the recent worst-ever suicide attack – Pulwama Terror attack in Kashmir.
