Sushant Singh Rajput’s brother-in-law Vishal launches ‘Nepometer’ to fight nepotism in Bollywood

Sushant Singh Rajput's brother-in-law Vishal to launch 'Nepometer' that helps in bringing out information to people that will be helpful in fighting against nepotism in the film industry.

The untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput has left the entire country in a state of shock, especially his family and fans, it has been two weeks since the sad demise of the PK actor. Sushant was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14, 2020.

As soon as the news of his suicide came out, the debate on nepotism started making rounds on social media and other platforms. The nepotism debate rekindled post-Sushant’s demise and netizens called out many big names in Bollywood such as Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Salman Khan, and more. Amid this, Sushant’s brother-in-law, Vishal Kriti announced to launch the ‘Nepometer’ to lock horns against nepotism.

Vishal announced to launch Nepometer which will help in bringing out information to people that will be helpful in fighting against nepotism in Bollywood. He cleared that Nepometer is being launched in the memory of late Sushant Singh Rajput and share more details about it. He posted on Twitter, “Created by my brother @mayureshkrishna in the memory of my brother in law @itsSSR.”

He explained that Nepometer will provide information and rating to movies and other projects on the basis of how independent or nepotistic the people are behind it.

He wrote, “Fight Bollywood Nepotism with Information. We will provide ratings for movies based on how nepotistic or independent movie crew is. If the #Nepometer is high, then it’s time to #boycottbollywoodnepotism #fightnepotism.” Seeing this, several fans of Sushant went and flooded the comment section and lauded the idea.

Meanwhile, Mumbai police are investigating Sushant’s suicide case and have recorded statements of many of his close associates like his Rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Sanjana Sanghi his Dil Bechara co-star also was interrogated by the police about her rumored tiff with him. Sushant’s Dil Bechara director Mukesh Chhabra was also called for recording his statement. Sushant’s last rites were performed by his family and friends at Vile Parle Mumbai. His last movie Dil Bechara will be releasing on July 24, 2020, on Disney Plus Hotstar.
