Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Amit Shah to kickstart BJP’s election campaign in Assam

BJP party president Amit Shah is all set to kick-start campaigns for party candidates contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election in Assam. Amit Shah will address one rally for ally AGP in Kaliabor constituency and the other for BJP candidate Topon Kumar Gogoi at Teok in Jorhat.

Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah has announced that the BJP is all set to kick-start campaigning for party candidates contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election in Assam. Party president Amit Shah has Tweeted that he will be addressing two poll rallies in the state of Assam. According to the tweet, Amit Shah will address one rally for ally AGP in Kaliabor constituency while the second rally for party candidate Topon Kumar Gogoi will be held at Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology in Teok, Jorhat constituency.

Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to go all guns blazing to campaign for party candidates – Pallab Lochan Das for Tezpur and Rameswar Teli for Moran on Saturday0, March 30, 2019. This seems to also have created a buzz in the political diaspora as for the first time, two big leaders will be signaling to commence intense campaigning for the Lok Sabha Elections in Assam. The state has 14 number of seats for which elections will be held in three phases starting from April 11th, 18th and 23rd, 2019.

According to a leading website, state finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP’s national secretary, Mahendra Singh in-charge for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls in Assam on Wednesday, took stock for planning PM Modi’s rallies to be held at Gohpur and Moran.

Modi will also be campaigning for BJP candidates in Silchar and Karimganj on April 6. The polls will be held for the two seats on April 18 while the five constituencies in the lower zone of Assam will vote in the third phase which will be conducted on April 23.

Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi had recently addressed a rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut and will be holding other rallies in the states of Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
