The U.S. presidential election of 2020 will be the 59th quadrennial U.S. presidential election. It was held in the Health Education Campus (HEC) shared by Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Campaign for the elections are at its rage and it turned humorous and Democratic nominee Joe Biden told a raging President Donald Trump to “shut up” in an opening debate that turned almost immediately into a shouting match 35 days ahead of the most tense US election in recent memory.

The debate in Cleveland, Ohio, was as bad-tempered as had been feared, with Trump leading the way in yelling over his challenger and the Fox News moderator Chris Wallace alike.

When the two men went on the stage, there was no formal handshake due to COVID-19 restrictions. This absence of traditional greeting symbolized division through the country in the final countdown to November 30. Further, Joe spoke for 37:56 for his first Presidential debate and Trump spoke a bit more for 39:06 minutes as per the leading news channel.

In their debate, Trump and Biden accused each other and came down to personal abuse by referring “Liar,” “racist” and “clown” were just some of the missiles launched from Biden, who also branded Trump the “puppy” of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump Vs Biden debate turned into a personal fighting match rather than policy making.

Whereas, Trump attacked by passing comments seeking to rile the Democrat by accusing one of his sons of corruption, and telling Biden that “there’s nothing smart” about the Democrat.

Both became loud rather than talking about economic figures and in the middle of debate at one point an exasperated Biden, who leads strongly in the polls, turned to Trump and said: “Will you shut up, man!”

In their debate, they spoke on conspiracy theories and on tax avoidance directly to citizens. It also covered vital topics including the candidates’ records, the Supreme Court, the COVID-19 pandemic, the economy, race and violence in the US, and the integrity of the election.

Democratic vice-presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris and Vice-President Mike Pence are set to debate just once: in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 7 October.

The debate will be hosted at Kingsbury Hall at the University of Utah and will be moderated by USA Today’s Washington Bureau chief Susan Page. According to The New York Times, the debate will be split into nine segments, each around 10 minutes.
