On Shah Rukh Khan’s 59th birthday, Sandeep Singh has unleashed the trailer of his upcoming show Fauji 2. He took to his Instagram on Saturday, and he posted the over two-minute-long video. The thrilling trailer gave goosebumps along with the fresh faces. Sandeep captioned the post with a note that read, “”Mark your calendars and brace yourselves for the next generation of Faujis! A new era of courage and sacrifice begins. From 18th November Mon – Thu 9:00 PM only on @ddnational.” The trailer gave a perfect glimpse of “faujis of new era”.

The video begin with actor Gauhar Khan AKA Lieutenant Colonel Simarjeet Kaur who is seen riding a bicycle. The video then moves to show the actors who will play soldiers in the show. The trailer shows Aashish Bhardwaj (Daksh Desai), Utkarsh Kohli (Rangrez Phogat), Udit Kapur (Arjun Negi), and Rudra Soni (Harun Malik) who will be playing the role of new soldiers. Vikas Jain, who will play Colonel Sanjay Singh, was also a significant part of the trailer.
Suvansh Dhar plays Abhimanyu Rai in the show. During Fauji part one Shah Rukh essayed the character of Lt Abhimanyu Rai in the 1989 show. Priyanshu Rajguru (Subbu Balakrishnan), Ayaan Manchanda (Aakash Chhetri), Aman Singh Deep (Vikram Singh Bagga), Niel Satpuda (Vijay Sachan) also feature in the trailer.

The TV series is all set to air starting from November 18, with episodes scheduled for Mondays through Thursdays at 9 PM on DD National. This time the series will be broadcasted in multiple languages. The languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Bengali.

Fauji (1989) was a television series following the training of an Indian Army commando regiment. It was Shah Rukh’s debut in television. Faji played an important and essential part in shaping Shah Rukh Khan’s career. It aired on DD National in 1989, and was directed by director Raj Kumar Kapoor. Moreover the first part of the Fauji was re-telecasted on Doordarshan when the shoot of Fauji 2 began.
