Instagram sensation, who goes with the name FlowerBomb revealed her definition of confidence and self-assurance, stating that she initially was insecure about her own body and how she looked, but things turned towards her favour when she began accepting her own abilities and qualities, which made her brim with confidence and appreciate the things she has achieved in life.
It all started when she received a DM in her Instagram handle when a user asked her, ‘how does she manage to remain confident all the time?’ In her recent post, FlowerBomb said, ”Somebody asked me last night in my direct messages how I am so confident…” She continued, ”The definition of confidence is: a feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities,” and added, “she’s brimming with confidence.”
FlowerBomb, who previously worked as a nurse for 15 years, walked down memory lane and shared her life instances on how she changed her perception about what truly matters in terms of looks, body and figure. ”It has taken me 35 years to have this confidence a few years ago when I was at my most insecure. I told myself to change my mindset,” she said.

The model, who commands close to a million followers on Instagram, said that social media has created a false reality and women are being pressurized to look a certain way to feel accepted, which in reality, isn’t true. ”Instagram shows us a false reality of what a woman truly looks like. Our skin smooth waist, pinched hips rounded, every day one of my friends goes under the knife to achieve a perfect body. I will never lie to my followers. I’m not perfect, however I have the confidence in myself to love my body no matter what anybody thinks and that to me is growth.”
FlowerBomb recently got herself a tattoo on her collarbone which states the importance of her worth and self-identity. ”My most personal tattoo is the tattoo on my collarbone it says know your worth and it is backwards so only I can read it in the mirror. I often struggle just like any other female but I remind myself I’m pretty dope and a good person. Thank you Leon for always capturing my confidence. @leondash x @binababic,” she summed it up.
