Keyshia Cole Reveals 2 PAC Was Ready To Sign of From Death Row For Quincy Jones

In a new Instagram live session with Fat Joe, American singer Keyshia Cole revealed how deep her connection was with 2 Pac was. Cole went to explain that she was introduced to Death Row Record by MC Hammer which is where she met 2 Pac and Suge Knight. She also revealed that her brother, Outlawz-affiliated rapper Nutt-So came to Las Vegas with 2 Pac, his fiancee Kidada Jones, and Suge for the Tyson fight the same night before 2 Pac was shot.

Cole made another revelation that 2 Pac had told her that he will be quitting Death Row to join hands with Quincy Jones and also wanted her to come with him. Well, it is still unclear when they had this conversation. After the 5:00 minute mark, she said, “I actually did know 2 Pac and he wanted me to sign for Quincy Jones when he and Kidada were together Quincy’s daughter, and he was set to collaborate with Quincy after leaving Death Row. He also wanted me to join there because he stated that Death Row was not the place for kids.”

Cole said, “I was 15. I was 16 when he died as my next birthday was coming around, I also remember receiving earrings in the email from Death Row Records but Suge of course was in jail.”

She further added, “My mother came and got us away from Suge’s place because everybody got shot that night. 2 Pac and my brother use to rap together in The Outlawz. All of us drove from L.A to Vegas. Pac was in the car with Kidada. Suge was in their car. My brother was in their car. We were in our car. we were kids though. He did not find that well, you know what I mean? The situation was just like a lot of drama at that moment.”

In Joe’s live session with Cole, he also brought in the chatter which he had with Rick Ross about Drake being the ‘Michael Jackson of this time.’ Joe asked Cole for her opinion about the statement and she didn’t agree with the statement. “I believe he has a lot of remarkable records, and I think he switches up his sound so much that I think I understand, but I also believe at the same time, every artist is who they are in their own right. No, I don’t agree with you.”
