Model Announces She Tested Positive For Coronavirus, Gets SHAMED By Followers

Danielle Bernstein, who goes by the Instagram handle WeWoreWhat recently took to her stories to announce that she tested positive for coronavirus and ended up being shamed by her followers as they spew venom against her, simply for being down with the virus.

The model revealed that she has been suffering at home with symptoms and shared her shaky experience with her 2.5 million followers on her Instagram stories throughout the weekend.

In one of her highlights, she confirmed that she woke up without any sense of taste and smell. Further she complained of extreme soreness, particularly her hips and legs. However she has been trying to stay hydrated and just take Tylenol.

Many of her followers wished for her recovery. However, there were few who were not quite kind when it came to her health. While some took a dig at her for revealing her positive test and also blamed her for going on a holiday to the Hampton’s during the summer, which they deemed to be rather “irresponsible” on her side.

One of the comments that slammed Danielle said, ”Of course Danielle Bernstein tested positive for COVID.” While the comment of a user who actually blamed her, wrote, “Danielle Bernstein tested positive for coronavirus after an entire summer of being irresponsible in the Hamptons. Interesting.”

Besides that she was being criticised for being active on social media. The user wrote, “Look I hope you get better and feel better but I think you should really take a break from social for a bit to focus on yourself. Having COVID-19 isn’t the time to be taking photoshoots on the couch in different cute outfits…”

Following the backlash against her, Danielle responded by admitting she could have been more careful and promised her followers that she would be much more responsible henceforth. She said, “Small groups, dining out, all of it is currently allowed. Guidelines are there to help us, but they are clearly not bulletproof. Of course I could have been more careful and still got it … the virus is still very much here and I will be taking it even more seriously going forward.”
