Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt Set To Star In Karan Johar’s Upcoming Rom-Com

Gully Boy pair Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt received so much love nationwide for their performance in the movie. This Jodi is all set to rock the silver screen again, but this time with Karan Johar.

Reports confirm that Karan Johar is ready with the script of his upcoming project, Takht, but the shoot has not been started yet due to Covid-19. The Gully Boy Jodi will collaborate with Karan Johar on another project within the same time log until the situation goes to normalcy.

Amid Covid-19, many industries have come to a halt, including the entertainment industry. But Bollywood is gradually coming back to its normalcy. Meanwhile, the leading director-producer, Karan Johar’s most important project, ‘Takht’ shoot has been put on hold, since it would be a multi starrer film.

The step has been taken considering the social distancing norms. The ensemble cast of Takht includes Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.

However, the filmmaker of ‘Kalank’, Abhishek Verma, is working on the love story with the Gully Boy star cast. Apparently, for the time being, until the current situation gets back to normal, the duo Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt, will team up with Karan Johar for another project, in the same time schedule.

According to sources, Karan Johar, was working on this project during the lockdown and the script is now ready. Besides this, Karan Johar, is most likely to make announcement very soon.

On the work front, Alia’s Sadak 2, is all set to release on Hotstar this month, Alia’ upcoming project, ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan has also been pushed due to many reasons including the global pandemic. Ranveer Singh’s next ’83’, is slated to hit the screens by the end of this year.
