Tamannaah Bhatia stars in the upcoming supernatural thriller Odela 2, directed by Ashok Teja. The film is a follow-up to Odela Railway Station, which was released in 2022 and directed by Sampath Nandi. Unlike its predecessor, which was a crime thriller, Odela 2 dives deep into the supernatural realm.
The teaser for Odela 2 was unveiled on Saturday at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. The one-minute, fifty-two-second teaser gives us a brief yet intriguing insight into the plot. Tamannaah plays the role of Shiva Shakthi, a sadhvi who embarks on a mission to a village called Odela. This village is protected by the god Odela Mallanna Swamy. The teaser hints that Shiva Shakthi must confront an evil force claiming control over the five elements.

The film also features Hebah Patel, who reprises her role from the original film. In addition to her, several actors like Vasishta N. Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, and others play key roles. Furthermore the screenplay, story, and direction supervision are handled by Sampath Nandi, who also produced the movie alongside D Madhu under the banners of Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks.
The film’s cinematography is led by Soundar Rajan S, known for his striking visuals. The soundtrack is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, adding an extra layer to the eerie and suspenseful tone of the film. The teaser gives off a thrilling vibe, hinting at gripping action and supernatural elements.
During the teaser launch at Mahakumbh, Tamannaah spoke about her role and preparation for the character. Moreover she also shared that she studied the body language of sadhus to bring authenticity to her portrayal of Shiva Shakthi. The actress expressed gratitude for being part of this film, saying, “I’m really lucky to be here. The crew will undoubtedly receive blessings and rewards for this movie.”
