The veteran actor was 57-years-old and was battling with serious cancer issues for the past four years. He is popular for his comedy and has portrayed several comic characters in films, television shows as well.
Last year, some online reports revealed that the actor was battling with cancer, from which he successfully made a recovery. After his recovery, the actor made a comeback and kept on contributing to the industry. Atul is a very popular name in the Marathi and Hindi film industry.
The veteran actor has worked with some of the big faces in the industry, including Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan as well.
