Ryan Dorsey breaks silence, writes a heartwarming tribute to ex-wife Naya Rivera

Ryan Dorsey, broke his silence on his ex-wife, Naya Rivera in a heartwarming note to the former Glee actress on his Instagram page. Rivera, 33 was found missing and confirmed dead after she had been on a boating trip to Lake Piru with her son two weeks ago.

In his heart rending post, Dorsey articulates ”disbelief” over her loss and promised to keep her memories immortal for their loving 4-year-old son. He further expressed displeasure that the loss of Rivera is unfair and the void she left in everyone’s mind by saying it is unbelievable that this is the life he is going to lead without her.

He further wrote of their memorable moments stating, she was just around with Josey until last day and says don’t know what to say but it has been unfair. He further states the happy times of both of them being together of the lovable moments they spent together and that he is always thankful for the fact of having their lovable four year old son, Josey.

Writing further, he reflects on those sweet annoyance of Rivera being filmed with her son on Snapchat and says though she was annoyed, now he is thankful that he did film innumerable videos of her and Josey which he could reflect on as they were so incredible sweet moments of her with Josey while the kid was growing up. This he says is a treasure to look back and reflect on how incredible his mother was for their son, Josey.

On his concluding note, he express gratitude to fans, friends and family members alike and asked them to be kind and send their lovable wishes as he embarks on a new journey in memory of his late wife.

Naya Rivera went missing on July 8 after she went on a trip with her four year old son, Josey in Lake Piru. According to the police, after going swimming, she did manage to put her son Josey back on the boat but could not muster enough courage to get back herself.

The autopsy conducted later by the officials concluded ”clear case of drowning” and ruled out any influence of alcohol or drugs at that moment. Her body was recovered five days later with an extensive search by the local county police deploying sonar equipments as the search proved to be quite challenging with the lake being quite deep and murky with full of water plants and debris at the base.

Naya and Dorsey were married in 2014 and worked together as co-stars and had entered wedlock. They welcomed their son Josey in 2015. However, they had a tumultuous marriage with Rivera once getting arrested in 2017 on charges of misdemeanor, domestic battery and their marriage was short lived thereafter and ended in 2018.

Rivera is best known for her flamboyant role as the cold, rebellious yet soulful singing sensation Santana Lopez in the television series Glee which was aired on Fox television from 2009 to 2015.
