Popular Telugu television actress Sravani Kondapally, committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Madhura Nagar, Hyderabad last night. Reportedly the incident occurred between 9 to 10 pm. Her family alleged that she committed suicide due to harassment by Devraj Reddy. Sravani’s family members went ahead and lodged a complaint against Devraj Reddy with the Epsarnagar police blaming him to be the main reason for her suicide.
Sravani was a household name in Andhra Pradesh as she was seen in the serial Manasu Mamata. She was found hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom at her residence in Madhuranagar, Hyderabad. The body was later shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem.
The sudden demise of actress has left her family, friends and colleagues in shock. While the real reason for Sravani’s death is still unknown, the police would launch an investigation into the matter and reveal the cause. Sravani’s family members alleged that she was harrassed by her boyfriend Devraj Reddy, and she was forced to end her life. Sravani’s brother demands that the culprit be severely punished.

According to sources, Sravani befriended with Deva Raj Reddy on TikTok sometime back. It is claimed that Devaraj harassed Sravani and she committed suicide out of resentment. It is said that the actress got in touch with Devaraj Reddy (Sunny) of Gollaprolu, Kakinada a few years back through Tiktok. The man said that he had no parents and became close to Sravani.
Sravani was famous for her roles in hit Telugu daily series like Mouna Ragam and Manasu Mamatha. Sravani has been active in the Telugu TV industry from the past 8 years. Her untimely demise has taken the cast and crew of the shows by surprise.
