After 19 hours of grilling, Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday in the drug case. The prime accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case will be taken for a medical test next at 4 PM as part of the formalities.
There were reports that Rhea had said that Sushant had a mental illness. Rhea had made a complaint against SSR’s sisters Priyanka and Mithu alleging that Sushant was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was undergoing treatment for various other mental health issues and that he would often abruptly stop his medications his ex- psychiatrist Dr Kersi Chavda reveals that the actor was not bipolar. He busts Rhea Chakraborty’s claims and clears the air that his client was suffering from anxiety.
There is also a report that Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in the Supreme Court where she has not used the word ‘bipolar’ but when she filed a complaint against Sushant’s sister on Tuesday, she mentioned ‘bipolar’.

Rhea Chakraborty alleged in her complaint, “Rajput was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was undergoing treatment for various other mental health issues. However, Rajput was not disciplined in following the treatment and would often abruptly stop his medications. On June 8, 2020, Rajput showed me the messages he and his sister Priyanka had exchanged in which Priyanka sent him a list of medicines to take. I explained to Rajput that he has already been prescribed medicines by doctors who are treating him”. Meanwhile, The NCB has summoned Rhea Chakraborty again for the third consecutive round of interrogation today.
Rhea Chakraborty in her interrogation revealed that whenever she called Sushant’s house help Dipesh Sawant and asked for drugs, it was not for her but for Sushant Singh Rajput and his friends. She also reiterated her claim that she has never consumed drugs. However, according to sources, she said at best she had smoked cigarettes. Rhea also revealed that through her brother Showik Chakraborty, she had met the alleged drug peddler Basit Parihar, who is currently in NCB’s custody, on five occasions and that he used to visit their house.

Sources said that Rhea put the blame on Sushant and his circle of friends for consuming drugs and she also denied she consumed drugs when confronted with Samuel Miranda. However, sources said that Samuel Miranda was the one who gave the drugs to her which she then claimed to give to Sushant. NCB will soon write to Mumbai Police and CBI to hand over the seizure memo so that it can find whether CBD oil was seized or recovered, sources added.
