In a rather hilarious moment for a Canadian couple on their wedding day, their attempt to take a ‘chance on a dance’ on a river dock ended up them plunging into the waters the very next moment.

The Canadian couple Lora Wendorf and her husband Jordan Devries, both 35, plunged into a river in their wedding attire after attempting a bold dance move on the edge of a dock on the riverside posing for a photograph.

It was the idea of the bride Lora Wendorf to recreate the amorous acrobatics dance moves which she had seen on Dancing With The Stars, but to their surprise, instead of having those memorable fun moments clicked on the dance, they ended up splashing in the river waters.

Lora, a social worker, revealed that she was so excited in the moment that she told her husband to attempt a romantic dance move which she saw on Dancing with the Stars, despite both of them not being dancers, they gave it a try.

However, she was not quite ready for the move and did a backward dip and didn’t give Jordan a hint of notice. The very next moment, she realized her head was under water and didn’t had the faintest idea what happened. All that she realized was her husband had fallen into the river too.

She admitted that she was ”in pure shock” and almost cried seeing her wedding dress soaked, but then she and her husband took it lightly as they were easy going people.

The bride quickly wrung her wedding dress, sneaked into the bathroom and admitted that she almost cried looking at her soaked wedding dress, wrecked hair and makeup, but as her brother-in-law started laughing, she broke into laughter too.

The next moment, she changed her outfit, took a shot of rum and then a torrential downpour started. So, she told her husband of going and meeting the guests soaking wet.

Further she said, people did ask them why they were all wet but they just laughed it off and had a good time and enjoyed the rest of the wedding time.

Explaining about how they went about the unexpected incident, she said, ”one should own what happens in life as it is always unpredictable.” In what seemed to be a beautiful dance photograph by the sunset ended up in a hilarious story for this amazing light hearted Canadian couple on their wedding day and they did use the photograph of their hilarious dive into the river as a thank you note to their guests.
