Maddock Films Announces Ambitious 4-Year Horror Comedy Superhero Universe Slate
Maddock Films is all set to embark on an exciting new journey, expanding its beloved horror-comedy universe with eight upcoming films between 2025 and 2028. This unique cinematic universe promises to combine spine-tingling horror, uproarious comedy, and superhero thrills, making for an unmissable entertainment spectacle.
It all started in 2018 with Stree, a surprise hit that blended horror and comedy effortlessly, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Over the years, Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films have delivered more hits, including Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2, all solidifying their presence in the genre. These films not only captivated audiences but laid the groundwork for an interconnected horror-comedy universe.
In 2025, Maddock Films will expand this universe with two highly anticipated films each year until 2028. The year 2025 will see the debut of Thama and Shakti Shalini, which are set to create waves in the genre. Thama will release on Diwali, followed by Shakti Shalini on December 31st. These two films will set the stage for Bhediya 2 in 2026, along with Chamunda, bringing more supernatural creatures and laughter to the big screen.

While 2028 will mark the culmination of this incredible journey. The first part of Mahayudh will hit theaters on August 11, 2028, with the second part, Doosra Mahayudh, arriving during the Diwali period on October 18. Fans can expect an unforgettable cinematic experience, combining everything from horror to comedy to superhero action.
