Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has reportedly committed suicide at his Mumbai residence today, as per reports. The Kai Po Che actor has hanged himself to death in his Bandra apartment. According to reports, the news was leaked by Times Now journalist Meghna Prasad who shared a tweet on social media soon after she got the news. Her post read: “BREAKING: ACTOR SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT DIES. FOUND HANGING IN HIS BANDRA HOME. POLICE confirm.”
Fans and film fraternity are now burning the loss of a young promising actor, who has given some of the most meaningful movies in Bollywood. Everyone in the film industry is in shock and saddened by his untimely demise. Sushant’s death has come like a tornado and is yet to be believable.
Expressing deep shock at Sushant Singh’s suicide, director Anurag Kashyap took to his Twitter account where he wrote, “Wtf .. this is not true.” even actor and model Gauahar Khan wrote, “Wtf ????? What is happening.” Meanwhile, the 34-year-old actor’s body was found by the police and it seems he wasn’t mentally keeping well due to this Coronavirus Pandemic.
On the work front, Sushant made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che in 2013 and later went on to feature in several films like MS. Dhoni-The Untold Story in 2016, Ratabta in 2017, Kedarnath in 2018 with none other than Sara Ali Khan and in Chhichhore last year.
His upcoming film Dil Bechara with actor Sanjana Sanghi based on the novel `The Fault in Our Stars’ by John Green was scheduled to release this year. Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen on Netflix’s Drive.
