Coronavirus Vaccine: Is Russia world’s first nation to complete human trials for COVID-19 treatment?

Coronavirus Vaccine: The world is in a race to produce a vaccine for the Novel Coronavirus. It seems Russian has won as it has managed to complete human trials for the much in demand COVID-19 vaccine before any country in the world.

Russia completes human trials before any country

Coronavirus Vaccine: With the spiking numbers of Coronavirus cases around the world, demand for COVID 19 vaccine has massively risen. As per reports, the world has crossed 13 million cases and death tolls to 5,70,000. If we talk about India then the COVID-19 cases data rises to 878254 with 23174 people were decreased because of this. By looking at these numbers, all the countries are engaged in making COVID-19 vaccine whether it is India, China, USA or UK. But all among these, Russia has now claimed that it has become the world’s first nation to complete clinical trials of the coronavirus vaccine on humans.

According to reports, researchers at Russia’s Sechenov University has claimed that they have managed to complete the work on clinical trials for the vaccine. The news about the completion of clinical trials on human was announced by director Alexander Lukashev at the Institute of Medical Parasitology, Tropical and Vector-Borne Diseases at the varsity. This pandemic situation is getting worsen and it is trading at a fast pace. Scientists, pharmaceutical companies and doctors are working under acute pressure to come up with a vaccine. As, all the countries are working as for there are 21 vaccines currently under key trials, according to the World Health organisation (WHO).

Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Sinovac, Cansino biologics, Novamax, Moderna, BioNTech aur in the leading race under experiment. Whereas, Astra Zenecas’, China National pharmaceutical group (Sinopharm) and China’s Sinovac biotech are in the Phase-III which is the last stage of the COVID-19 vaccine.

On June 18, Russia’s Gamalei Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology has reportedly produced a vaccine for which trial has started ” Sechenon University it has successfully completed tests on volunteers of the world’s first vaccine against coronavirus,” Tarason said.

“Smolyarchuk has not further cleared when the vaccine will enter in the commercial production stage whereas, he said that the research has been completed and it is proved safe and patients who are under the clinical trial will be discharged on July 15 and July 20”.

Under the clinical trial, 18 volunteers were grouped in the first group and 20 volunteers were included in the second group, after vaccination, volunteers will remain in isolation in hospital for 28 days. After successful completion of clinical trial now Russia is looking green flag from World Health organisation (WHO) and the Ray of Hope has a rising in throughout the world.
