Sarah Huckabee Sanders revealed in her momoir that Donald Trump asked her to go to North Korea after the dictator winked at her.
Sarah Sanders, the former White House press secretary revealed that U.S president Donald Trump told her ”to go to North Korea and take one with the team” during a bilateral summit in Singapore between Trump and Kim Jong Un in 2018.
Sanders reveals this in her memoir ‘Speaking For Myself’ which is due to release next Tuesday. The memoir makes extensive revelation of the visit of Trump with Kim Jong Un in Singapore. She reveals how Kim reluctantly accepted a Tic Tac mocking it as a breath mint and not poison.
She reveals the two men talked of sports, especially about women’s soccer and that at one point, Kim noticeably fixated his eyes on Sarah and that their eyes locked but she quickly looked down and continued taking notes.
On her way back to the airport in Trump’s Beast limousine, she did narrate the incident to Trump and to Mike Kelly, former Chief of Staff and Trump had told her ”Kim Jong Un hit on you? He did! He f*****g hit on you?” For which Sarah had told Trump ”Sir, please stop” but Trump continued stating ”she go to North Korea and take one with the team,” and was also backed by Mike Kelly.

Trump had met Kim 3 times and the relationship between the two has not been a pleasant one with threats of nuclear arsenal being used. Trump’s policy towards Pyongyong has irked many of his allies including Seoul.
Sarah does mention about the foreign policy of Trump with North Korea. She does mention about Trump’s interaction with Dennis Rodman, an NBA sports star who was close to Kim. However, there is no mention of Otto Warmbier, who was reportedly being tortured in North Korea and is in deep coma to which Trump reacted in Hanoi that he would take the word of the Kim who claimed that he was not aware of the incident.
Sarah Sanders hails from a notable Republican family. Her father, Mike Huckabee was a presidential nomination candidate in 2008 and 2016. Sarah is reportedly eyeing her run for the Governor of Arkansas.
