It Would Be An Insult If Kamala Harris Becomes US President: Donald Trump At North Carolina Rally

Donald Trump says Kamala Harris becoming the president of the United States is an insult to the country.

President Donald Trump held a rally in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and hit out at Kamala Harris in a blistering attack saying her nomination is an insult to the United States. ”It would be an insult if Kamala Harris became the president of US,” he said as his supporters cheered. Trump had earlier launched his tirade against Harris in reaction to her vice presidential nomination bid stating she is ”incompetent” to serve as the vice president.

On Tuesday, Trump told his supporters that ”people don’t like her. Nobody likes her. She could never be the first woman president. That would be an insult to the country”. He further said that Biden picked her as his running mate even after she left the race.

The remarks come while there has been contrasting backgrounds with Kamala Harris, eyeing the vice presidential bid has been elected the Governor of California thrice while Trump had won the presidential election merely winning the electoral college after losing the popular vote in the sole election he fought.

On Biden, Trump said, ”If Biden wins, China wins”. He further added that ”you build the greatest country in the history of the world and we were forced to close it because the China plague came in and now we have opened it (US Economy), the Chinese want to see Biden win because his policies would ensure the downfall of America.”

Earlier Kamala Harris had attacked Trump saying, ”President Trump and his campaign will engage in lies and dirty tactics” in a response to Trump questioning her credibility to be vice president or even running for president.

Joe Biden, in a surprise move had picked Kamala Harris as his running mate before accepting his presidential nomination. Harris was earlier in race with Biden for the presidential candidacy for the Democrats but formally dropped out after Biden winning the presidential nomination.

Before the RNC speech of Trump, Kamala Harris had a scatty attack on Trump for his mishandling of the COVID 19 situation in the US, she said, ”it is relentless and you can’t stop it with a tweet. Instead of meeting the most challenging phase of his presidency, he froze, he was scared and vindictive”.

The US election is scheduled on November 3, 2020. Polls indicate Joe Biden is leading ahead of Donald Trump with many points across majority of the states. Will Trump be reelected or shown the door, only time will tell.
