Last Week Tonight host John Oliver during an informative and entertaining segment on Conspiracy Theories shares one of his own. Oliver proclaims that the royal family may have had princess Diana killed. During the segment, many conspiracy theories that have sprouted up around Coronavirus pandemic were discussed. But besides all these the host shared a curious conspiracy theory of his own.

He said, “These theories are a lot more popular than you might think. Polls over the years have shown that over half of Americans consistently endorse at least one sort of conspiratorial narrative,” Oliver explained. “And look: I’m not immune here. Embarrassingly, there is a part of me that thinks the royal family had Princess Diana killed. I know that they didn’t, because there’s absolutely no evidence that they did, but the idea still lingers because it felt too big an event to be accidental. There had to be some intent there.”

His video on the “pandemic” was full of bonkers as he claims that wearing a mask would active a “coronavirus expression” within one.

He also aimed at President Trump’s insane decision about reopening schools during the pandemic in another segment of his show. Oliver says that Trump is ignoring CDC guidelines and health officials right now when he talks about reopening educational institutions during a pandemic which has claimed over 140000 lives. Oliver notes that the President is threatening to defund schools that don’t obey his orders. That would mean cutting down fund for lower-income and underdeveloped kids.

He also remarks that Trump is the most prominent spreader of conspiracies on Earth. He says “Conspiracies are sort of like ugly buildings and deeply tragic adult children in that Donald Trump loves to unleash them into the world and then refuse to take responsibility for them ever again.”

Oliver also said that conspiracy theories are not plausible for everyone and its not easy to reach out to the truth about every theory. But one can still try, he said. Hence he curiously remarked that Princess Diana may have been killed by the royal family though there is no evidence about that.
