People taking safety measures irresponsibly can be easily spotted on the streets but this little boy is winning hearts all over for wearing a mask and making sure that his dog is also wearing one.
A video of a dog riding pillion on its human’s bike is the latest topic for Twitterati. The video attracted all sorts of comments from people and has now divided Twitter and sparked a debate. The adorable video was tweeted by Reuters with the caption, “ICYMI: A video of a boy in Ecuador putting a face mask on his dog and himself as they prepare for a bike ride is viral (sic).”
The 36-second-video starts with a little boy holding his bicycle and wearing a mask. If you look carefully, you will see his pooch on the bicycle also has a mask on. As the boy hops on the bicycle, he makes sure that the mask on his dog is properly placed by picking its ears and checking again. To be sure, he gets off the bike to check again.

Since being shared just a day back, the video has gathered close to 54,000 views. Additionally, it has also garnered about 4,200 likes and close to 1,400 retweets.
Some applauded the little boy and were simply happy to see the video, as it brought a smile on everyone’s face. However, there were a few who were not impressed by it and pointed out that it’s unsafe for a dog to ride pillion. One user also added that wearing a helmet is uncomfortable for a dog.
By now, the whole world knows that wearing masks or face covers and following social distancing norms are the two most effective non-pharmaceutical ways to stop the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic. But, while it’s common knowledge that wearing masks is of the utmost importance, many can be seen irresponsible about it.
