North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is reportedly slipped into coma. A South Korean official claims that the ruler had granted power to his younger sister Kim YoJong, who will be exercising de facto control over national and global matters, as several media houses quote a former aide of South Korea’s late president Kim Dae Jung.

Reportedly Chang Song-min, who served Kim Dae Jung as a political affairs secretary and as head of the state affairs monitoring office claimed in a social media post that North Korean leader would not authorize any of his powers to another person unless he was in a very sick state to rule or was driven out through a coup.

Korean Herald quoted him saying, “I assess him (Kim Jong Un) to be in a coma, but his life has not ended.” he also added, “A complete succession structure has not been formed, so Kim Yo-Jong has being called as the vacuum cannot be maintained for a prolonged period.”

Chang also said he secured the information from a source in China that Kim is “Comatose. Amid speculation of his deteriorating health, Chang’s claim comes months after the North Korean dictator had not made any public appearance.

He was last spotted presiding over a Worker’s Party politburo meeting on April 11 before a top security adviser to the South’s President Moom Jae- in downplayed rumors and said Kim Jong Un was “alive and well.”

Thereafter he was seen at the inauguration function of a fertilizer factory on May 2, as reported by KCNA. Chang has also claimed all the photographs of Kim circulated by North Korea were fake in recent months.
