As the post spread across LinkedIn, Suresh Narayanan, Nestle India’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), intervened. Narayanan took to LinkedIn to warn job seekers about the fraudulent post. He described it as “completely fake, totally untrue and grossly misleading.” Narayanan expressed concern for young job seekers who could be duped by such offers. He urged them not to respond to the post and avoid falling for scams.
“I do not want any youngster from anywhere to be duped by the lofty offers made. Please do not respond to any such advert,” Narayanan said in his post. He emphasized that his direct involvement in addressing the issue came from his genuine concern for the welfare of job seekers.

In the wake of the viral post, Nestle India released an official statement on LinkedIn to further clarify the situation. The company made it clear that it does not authorize such recruitment efforts and warned candidates about fraudulent offers.
Nestle India’s statement read, “We hire candidates either directly or through reputed recruitment agencies. These agencies do not charge candidates at any point in the hiring process, either before or after.” The company also pointed out that no recruitment agency has the authority to directly issue offer letters for employment at Nestle India.
Nestle India advised all aspiring candidates to exercise caution and stay vigilant when encountering job offers. The company specifically cautioned that it never charges applicants for job applications or interviews.
