The White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany trolled the media during a press briefing making reporters watch Nancy Pelosi’s hair salon video on a loop. In the video, Pelosi is seen without a mask and illegally getting a hair treatment at the salon despite she ordering to close down businesses due to Covid-19.
The salon was opened only for the convenience of Pelosi while thousands of other businesses are forced to shut. “Apparently, the rules do not apply to Speaker Nancy Pelosi,” said McEnany. “She wants small businesses to stay shut down but only reopen for her convenience.” She added, “‘Do as I say, not as I do,’ says Nancy Pelosi.”
McEnany then pointed her guns towards Pelosi’s stalled coronavirus relief package and accused her of getting special treatment while the American workforce was suffering. “Nancy Pelosi is holding up $1.3 trillion in relief for the American people while getting special access to the very kind of small businesses this money would support — businesses like this hair salon.”
Pelosi claimed that she was ”set up” by the salon owner as she leaked the video of her entering the salon to Fox News. If that wasn’t enough, Pelosi demanded an apology from the salon owner for tarnishing her name. “I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I’ve been to many times. It was a set up. I take responsibility for falling for a set up,” and then continued, “I think that this salon owes me an apology,” she said.
When questioned by reporters on why she didn’t wear a face mask while entering and walking inside the salon, Pelosi said, “I don’t wear a mask when I’m washing my hair,” and then challenged a reporter saying, “Do you wear a mask when you’re washing your hair?” And the reporter shot back, “I always have a mask.”
Donald Trump jumped on the bandwagon and called Nancy Pelosi a hypocrite for enjoying a hair treatment at a salon while she ordered all businesses to shut down due to the pandemic. He tweeted, ”Crazy Nancy Pelosi said she was “set up” by the beauty parlor owner when she improperly had the salon opened (and didn’t wear a MASK!). Does anyone want a Speaker of the House who can be so easily SET UP?”
The president continued his tirade against Pelosi saying, ”Nancy Pelosi says she got “set up” by a Beauty Parlor owner. Maybe the Beauty Parlor owner should be running the House of Representatives instead of Crazy Nancy?”
