Kandice Barber, 35, a mother of three has been charged with three counts of causing or inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual act.

A strange affair turned out to be a nightmare after a school teacher sent pictures of her topless body to a 15-year-old student via snapchat. Kandice Barber,35, a teacher based out of Wendower, Buckinghamshire has been charged with three counts of causing or inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual act.
The unusual story unfolds in 2018 where the boy (unnamed) told the jurors that Barber picked him up after dropping her son after school. They drove to a nearby field and have had sex. The boy, however had initially lied to the headteacher of his relationship with the Barber as he told the court that she could be pregnant with his child.
It was not until March last year that the affair came to light after topless pictures of Barber were circulated among pupils in the school. Asked about how the picture got leaked, Barber claimed that her ‘Eyes Only’ folder in Snapchat has been hacked. She further stated that she gave the boy her number so that he could talk to her on any issues and when his phone calls became persistent, she had denied him continuing any further communication.

However, the boy has a different tale to tell. He told jurors that the mother of three had initially told him that he had a bigger penis than her husband and she could be pregnant with his child. However, Barbara defended herself stating that she had ‘good intentions’ when she gave her number to the 15 year old despite the strict rules of teachers not to contact the pupils outside school without the headteacher’s permission.
Prosecute Richard Milne told the jurors that she had initially met the boy in a sports club back in September 2018 and added herself to his Snapchat account.
The police told that court that Barber had googled ‘alibi’ and ‘having an affair’ which Barbara told was in reference to the movie ‘fatal attraction. In her defense statement, she further said that when she expressed her discomfort with the boy’s phone calls, the boy had retorted ‘watch, what is going to happen. You are going to loose your job and your family’.
However, her husband, Dawn Green, who had accompanied with her during the trails told the jurors that ‘she was his “rock” and denied of their relationship going through a bad phase when the offences were committed. With the two week trial on, the jurors have not been able to reach on the verdict on those three counts of charges. The retrial has been scheduled on January 18 to pronounce verdict on the remaining charges.
