Riky Ash, a professional stuntman did a daredevil act by setting himself on fire and proposed his girlfriend Katrina Dobson which left her speechless.

As surprising as it sounds, this is not a fantasy adventure movie with your favorite hero popping out of a fireball and doing the unthinkable, but this is for real. Riky Ash, 52, a professional stuntman thought of doing a Hollywood blockbuster. That was not an eye catching action sequence in a movie but the most unique of all. Proposing his girlfriend in a special way.
Coronavirus nurse Katrina Dobson, 48 was totally stunned and speechless when Riky set himself on fire and asked the love of his life to marry him. For a while, Katrina was lost but regained her composure and said ‘Yes’.
This unique romantic pair, met online and had started dating since March and due to the lockdown, they would talk on phone everyday. Riky thought it was perfect to propose his princess in a unique way.

He told that these stunts are something quite familiar to him and that he would do it day-in and day-out, but wanted to reward Katrina in the most unique way, so it would remain a treasure of memories for the rest of her life. He also told that she ”is an amazing woman, working tireless to help people better their lives.” Katrina works at the coronavirus unit in William Harvey Hospital.
For Katrina, this amazing proposal has been a story of something that would bring a smile on her face. She further added that when she saw him in flames, she was stunned and asked what was he doing tucking his hand in the pocket. Ricky just took hand out of his pocket with the ring.
Photographer, David Sinclair revealed that during the photoshoot, the trickster knelt before his lady love and extended his hand with the ring while he was engulfed in flames. He further added the accelerant causes a big woosh of fire and dies out and the flames lasted until Riky saying, ‘Will you marry me, Katrina Dobson’.
Riky has been a professional stuntman for 27 years appearing in countless commercials, television programs and films alongside the likes Richard Burton and Johnny Depp. He holds the Guinness World Record for ‘most versatile stuntman’ in 2000 after having doubled the actors of all heights, age and genders.
