Texas Child Sex Racket: Three among nine suspected US military members have been arrested in a sex racket involving minors in Texas, out of these 2 soldiers are posted at Ford Hood.

Texas Child Sex Racket: Three among nine suspected US military soldiers have been arrested in connection with a child prostitution sting. According to reports in leading websites, the incident came into limelight after a sting operation, which revealed that US soldiers are involved in child prostitution. As per reports, “There are around 79,000 victims of youth and minor sex trafficking in Texas,” said Special Victim’s Unit of the Killeen Police Department along with Texas Department of Public Safety Human Trafficking Program.

During the sting operation, the suspects contacted the police officials, it was believed that the girls engaged in the racket were aged between 15-16 years. This information came through various social media platforms. Later, they agreed to exchange money, drugs or alcohol for having sex with these minor girls. The arrests were made after the accused agreed to meet the girls as per location decided by them.

“The overall goal was to locate and arrest subjects who were making overt efforts to pay minors to engage in sexual acts,” a statement issued by the Killeen police department read. Those arrested have been identified as Anthony Xavier Antwon, Brian Harley Flynn, Javier Perez, Brandon Anthony Lee, Dustin Edward Johnson, Timmy Jones Jr., Shaun Paul Moore, Rakeem Jamal Nelson, and Pierre Jean. The police have also recovered two guns from the spot.

A similar incident took place in September 2017 in which twelve men were arrested, among which six were identified as soldiers stationed at Fort Hood. Reports said that 13 active-duty soldiers from Fort Hood were arrested by the law enforcement agencies involved with the scam.
