The foundation-laying ceremony today will also highlight other major expansion projects within the university, including new campuses in both East and West Delhi. The eastern campus will be situated at Surajmal Vihar, while the western campus will be developed in Dwarka. These initiatives are part of a massive ₹600 crore investment aimed at strengthening Delhi University’s infrastructure and educational resources.

The Veer Savarkar College is set to stand out for its state-of-the-art features designed to offer a world-class learning environment. The CBSE office complex is part of the government’s broader push to improve administrative infrastructure across the capital.
Prime Minister Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his enthusiasm for the upcoming projects. “Delhi has made a mark as a hub for education, drawing students from all over India. During today’s programme, I will lay the foundation stone for three transformative projects worth over ₹600 crore. These initiatives aim to strengthen the academic infrastructure and provide world-class learning environments for students,” he stated.
