Japanese actor Haruma Miura dies in suspected suicide leaving behind a note, he was only 30

His manager found the actor unresponsive at his home and took him to the hospital where he was declared dead.

Japanese actor and television star, Haruna Miura dies at the age of 30. It is reported that the actor was found unresponsive at his Minato home in Tokyo. The actor was known for his performance in Attack on Titan, Eien no Zero (Eternal Zero), Kimi ni Todoke (From Me to You), and Koizora (Sky of Love).

Miura’s manager visited his home when the actor was supposed to come for work, but didn’t show up. As and when his manager reached the actor’s house, he found Haruna dead. The manager took him to the hospital, but he lost his breath upon arrival. Tokyo Metropolitan police suspect suicide as the cause of his death. A suicide note has also been founded in his room.

Filmography:

Miura debuted in Japanese film Agri at the age of seven in 1997. In 2009, he starred opposite Shun Oguri in Crows Zero II, the sequel to action flick Crows Zero. He was the protagonist in the live-action adaptation of manga Kimi Ni Todoke. He also took on the title role of Eren in the two-part live-action adaptation of Attack On Titan.

Miura appeared in several Japanese TV dramas as a supporting role in Binbō Danshi and Gokusen before being cast as the lead in Bloody Monday opposite Takeru Satoh.

Awards:

Miura earned the Sponichi Grand Prix Newcomer Award at the Mainichi Film Awards in 2009 for his role in Naoko. He was the recipient of newcomer award at the 31st Japan Academy Awards for that role.

Upcoming Projects:

Miura was set to appear in upcoming Brave: Gunjyo Senki, which will be set to release in 2021 and he was the founder of the band Brash Brats with his college mates. He also signed a top agency called Amuse Inc., which also received an award in 2015. Miura took to his Instagram three days ago and encouraged fans through to watch his next drama Love Will Begin When Money End, which will air in September.

He also posted a happy picture. As per the translation of his post, Miura described the positive and wonderful vibe on the sets and hoped he would make people laugh.
