BhabhiJi Ghar Par Hai: Kata Laga’ girl, Shefali Jariwala, is in talks to replace Saumya Tandon who was playing the role of, ‘Gori mam’ aka ‘Anita Bhabhi’ in the popular serial Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai. The makers of the daily soap have not yet confirmed, still, they approached Bigg Boss 13, fame, Shefali Jariwala. It has been reported that due to Coronavirus pandemic situation Saumya is busy with her child at home and can’t do the shooting for Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai.

‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’, show since the start, entertained their viewers well. It was the long-running show which has kept their viewer’s stability. The plot is also said to be loosely based & inspired by the 1994 Hindi sitcom Shrimaan Shrimati. Due to novel Coronavirus, the shoots of the show as paused. And with the increasing number of cases, Bhabhi Jo Ghar Par Hai’ protagonist, Anita Bhabhi, Aka Saumya Tandon, is unwilling to shoot, as she can’t risk the life of her child. Because of which, the filmmakers of the show have approached Shefali Jariwala.

The information is not yet confirmed. Shefali is currently refraining herself from any comments, until any confirmation from the official team. The actress has also expressed her concern over COVID-19 and is worried as her hairdresser tested positive for the COVID-19.

Upon this, the producers of the show, Binaifer  Kohli, informed that before the shoot resumed, everyone was tested negative. Saumya’s hairdresser was feeling unwell, and so she couldn’t come. The producer also talked about the Saumya’s busy schedule, because of which she hasn’t shot for the last few days. Even she is in no contact with anyone from the set.

Saumya was playing the role of Anita Bhabhi in the show, who is a headstrong, smart and modern woman and runs grooming classes. She is also the only earning member of her family and is upset with her husband’s unemployment and laziness. Earlier, Shilpa Shinde was also replaced due to some issues related to contract.

The novel Coronavirus has affected the lifestyle of everyone. Now when things are getting normal, everyone is worried about themselves. The medical protocols are being followed by many production houses. They are trying best to work according to ethics and keeping in mind the safety of others.
