CM Nitish Kumar, demands for CBI probe as soon as the actor's family give their consent. Lawyer Vikas Singh, targets Maharashtra government in erasing the evidence, as Bihar SP was forced to quarantine.
It’s been almost more than 50 days and still Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case is left unsolved. Everyday, the case is taking new twists and turns. Now, Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, has demanded for a CBI probe into Sushant’s mysterious death, as soon as the deceased family give their consent.
However, Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray, ruled out this decision, even after the actor’s father filed a complaint earlier, stating, Sushant was receiving threat calls on February 25. Maharashtra Police is continuously, putting hurdles when Bihar Police is actively looking into the case. Also, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer put certain allegations saying, Bihar has no jurisdiction into the matter and clearly mentioned that Bihar had no legal basis to get involved, so the demand for CBI probe is not sanctioned.
Ever since the case has been granted to the Maharashtra Police, Bihar Jurisdiction has been doing a parallel probe from the day Sushant’s father lodged a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty for provoking the suicide.

Not only this, Maharashtra government quarantined Bihar SP, thus obstructing the investigation by the Bihar Police. Upon this, Vikas Singh, the lawyer of Sushant’s father, while talking to a news agency, clearly targeted Maharashtra Government for quarantining Bihar IPS officer Vinay Tiwari, for obstructing and disabling the investigation. He claimed that Mumbai Police was trying to buy time to destroy the evidence.
Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar decided to hand over the case to CBI probe, if the actor’s father gave their consent for it. The turf war is going on between Patna and Mumbai, after Bihar officer was forced to quarantine as soon as he arrived in Mumbai. Recently, Mumbai police said the actor was under treatment for bipolar disorder and was taking medication.
According to Mumbai Police, Sushant googled about painless death. The case has now taken a political turn, when both the states are not agreeing to any particular point.
