Cameron Boyce: Remembering Late Disney star on His Second Birth Anniversary

Actor Cameron Boyce, who died at the age of 20, was best known for his character, “Luke” in Disney Channel’s “Jessie.” The actor’s death was shocking to the whole film fraternity. Boyce died suddenly in his sleep on July 6, 2019. His fellow co-stars, fans, and friends reacted with shock, grief, and questioned his unexpected and sudden demise.

According to reports, Boyce was suffering from a rare brain condition termed “epilepsy.” The night he passed away, Boyce was out to dinner with his father, who said that he and his son were texting until past midnight after returning from dinner.

What is Epilepsy?

Epilepsy causes seizures and other health problems. It is a chronic brain disorder that comes with a risk of death either from seizure complications or sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP).

Many people with this condition can live a long, and productive life. It is one of the most common brain conditions, with about 3.4 million people in the United States having the disease in “active” form, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Cameron Boyce’s Father Pens Heartfelt Note on His Second Birth Anniversary

Remembering the late actor on his second birth anniversary, Boyce’s father Victor Boyce took to Instagram to share a childhood photo of his late son. He wrote, “This is the way I will always remember him. So happy, so full of love for his family and friends. I miss him more than words can describe and I dream about him often.”
