Akshay Kumar's concept of FAUG is not having any link with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Vishal Gondal, the founder of nCore released an official statement clarifying all the rumors relating to the game FauG, which is soon to be launched. Soon after the ban of 118 Chinese apps along with the very famous and addictive game, PUBG, Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar announced the launch of Indian version of the game last Friday.
As soon as the official announcement was made, social media was flooded with memefest, as memes pointed out the plagiarized poster. Besides that, some of the users, slammed the actor for stealing the concept of the game from the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s computer.

What The Company Has To Say?
In a statement issued to address certain ongoing conversations/rumours on social media that FAUG was conceptualized by late actor Shri Sushant Singh Rajput, the company stated that none of these rumours are true and claimed it as ”completely false and baseless.”
For the uninformed, nCore was founded in 2019 by Indian entrepreneurs Vishal Gondal and Dayanadhi MG & others who have been in the gaming industry for over 20 years. The founder said that the company involves a team of over 25 programmers, artists, testers, designers who have worked on top gaming titles in the past and are currently developing the FAUG game.

Vishal Gondal informed that he started his company as its 1st gaming company Indiagames in 1998 which was sold 100% to Walt Disney in 2012 and he is also called the father of Indian gaming industry. He explained that nCore is Bangalore based mobile games and interactive entertainment company. The company aimed to create and publish category-defining mobile games for the Indian market. He further added that Bollywood actor, Mr. Akshay Kumar has been a mentor to nCore.
The company addressed the stories relating to copying a poster of the game, FAUG, alleged to be plagiarized clarified that they have officially bought the license to use the image from Shutter Stock. Additionally, the company claimed that it was just a teaser poster and would be releasing the official game, title Screen and in-game art soon.
