Kanye West seemed to be out of the presidential polls as per his election strategist Steve Kramer, who recently revealed that the rapper is out presidential bid in 2020, as the singer was only got 2 percent of the vote share when compared to his opponents Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Kanye neither supported his claim nor denied it. However, the authenticity of the reports still remains doubtful.
As per reports, Kanye has qualified to draw his foot into the presidential ballot in the state of Oklahoma. The rapper reportedly submitted all necessary documents with the state election board on July 15. However, his bid for the presidential chair is still dubious since he has lapsed important deadlines in several states such as North Carolina and New Hampshire.
The 43-year-old singer informed his bid for the presidency in a tweet on July 4, Independence Day, stating that he would be running for the president of the United States in the upcoming polls in November. After the announcement, Kanye offered details about key issues for his poll campaign such as being ”anti-abortion, school prayers, and anti-vaccination.”
His announcement for the presidential bid was also supported by his friend, Space X founder Elon Musk. Kanye is the best-selling music artist across the globe with 140 million records sold worldwide. He has been the recipient of 21 Grammy Awards for his incredible performance, making him one of the most awarded artists of all time. This also includes the Billboard Artist Achievement Award.
He also acclaimed three Brit Awards for Best International Male Solo Artist and the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. As a fashion designer, he partnered with renowned brands such as Nike, Louis Vuitton, and A.P.C. on both clothing and footwear, and have most prominently resulted in the Yeezy collaboration with Adidas beginning in 2013. Kanye has also founded the creative content company DONDA.
