Monikangana Dutta who is based in Mumbai but hails from Guwahati, studied in the Army Public School, Narangi, and later graduated from Matreyi College, University of Delhi. She started her modeling career in Paris and appeared in top fashion magazines like Elle and Vogue.
The leggy lass is an upcoming Bollywood actress and super model represented by the IMG Models. She is working on her debut, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. She is a resident of Guwahati, Assam and studied in the Jesus and Mary College.
Monikangana is a different model from India’s hottest flow of models. She has worked her way to be the most acknowledged and talked about models just after the two years of walking the ramp. She was also a part of the prestigious Kingfisher Calendar.
The model walked the ramp for racy lingerie line Victoria’s Secret fashion show in India and is the first Indian woman to do so. The supermodel fondly known as Moni, will soon be in Milan for a photo shoot for Victoria’s Secret. She is one of India’s top models who created waves with her oriental magnetism on a number of fashion weeks both in India and abroad.
Monikangana Dutta has worked for Elle, Vogue, and several other magazines as well as innumerable fashion shows and brands. She said, “When Vogue called me I couldn’t believe it, it’s every girl’s dream to be on the cover, and there I was with five of the most beautiful girls in the world.”!!
She further commented about her modelling stint, “Being signed by IMG is like when you dream of something and you wait for years and years and then suddenly it’s in your hands.”
