Lake Piru is murky with dense shrubs and poor visibility and only professional divers are capable of handling the situation.
Fans and co-stars of Naya Rivera plan to visit Lake Piru to join in the search operations to retrieve her body and police warn their actions to be unsafe and dangerous, as the lake is filled with dense shrubs and steep terrains, making it impossible for anyone other than professional divers to survive in the midst of the waters.
There has been a sea of outpouring from co-stars and fans alike. Heather Elizabeth Morris who worked with Rivera, had notably requested the rescue crew to permit to assist in the lookout, writing, ”I’m Naya’s close friend and co-worker, and I’m trying to conduct an on foot search and rescue mission along with a small group of friends at Lake Piru.”

Meanwhile, police warned fans and her co-stars who wanted to venture for the lookout of the actress in the lake and said their actions are risky and dangerous, as the terrains are steep and the lake is murky with dense shrubs and expressed concerns of landing themselves in trouble. They said only the deployed crew are ”well trained and specialized” for the task.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s department announced lookout for the actress in the nearby cabins on the bank as there were enquiries pouring on social media of a possible theory of the Glee actress to be found. However, Sgt. Shannon King later told People, ”They’re not occupied. Nothing came of it. There’s no evidence to say she left the water. It appears to be 100 percent just a tragic drowning.”
In a rather hopeful development, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue Team spokesman Robert Inglis told Us Weekly that Rivera had shared a photograph of her son to a relative that showed the four-year-old near a cove around two hours before the kid was found sleeping alone on the boat and thus expressed confidence in locating her body.
Inglis further added that he guesses the winds may have shoved the pantaloon boat further away as it is light; thus, presumed she might have swam after the boat to get back. But that’s all hypothetical and told that once she is traced, all possibilities could be confirmed.
Naya Rivera’s father showed up on Sunday to extend his support for the ongoing search operations to locate her body and devastated want to ‘set out’ a venture in search of their bellowed star on their own. However, police warned them of venturing on their own saying their move is ”risky”.
The Glee actress’s father George Rivera was seen yet again on Lake Piru searching his missing daughter. The police confirmed ”nothing came” of their search of cabins along Lake Piru. He was seen on the location conversing with the people who happened to be around.

While fans forced the co-stars of the hit show Glee to ‘break their silence’ and express themselves in supporting the actress . Amber Riley, who played Mercedes Jones in the hit show, tweeted, ”Show some respect. All our energy is going toward helping find Naya and praying for her safe return and for her family.”
”No one owes anyone online a performance of grief. This is very real and devastating. Focus on Naya and her family. Not us. We don’t matter right now.” The grieving family of the Glee actress Naya Rivera hopes to find a closure to this tragic incident.
