Nicki Minaj is PREGNANT! Rapper Nicki Minaj posted pictures of her pregnant belly on Monday to reveal that she is expecting her first child with husband Kenneth Petty, whom she married last October. Minaj made the announcement with a series of glamorous maternity photos showing off her baby bump on Instagram on July 20.

Nicki Minaj is going to welcome the baby with Kenneth Petty, who Minaj married in 2019. “I didn’t think it would be as refreshing and calming as it is,” Minaj has said of her marriage. “Even if you’re not married, when you have someone that feels like your soulmate or someone who understands you, it just makes you feel like you’re on top of the world.”

Not much is known about About Kenneth petty apart from his history of mugshots. The New York State department labels Petty as a level-two sex offender, which deems him of having a moderate risk of a repeat offence. This all stems from the 1995 rape conviction of a 16-year-old, where he allegedly used a knife/cutting instrument of sorts to coerce her into sex. He was ultimately sentenced to 18 to 54 months in prison.
The announcement came 10 months after Nicki, 37, sent her fans into hysteria when she took a break from the spotlight to focus on family. “I’ve my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me… Love you for LIFE,” she wrote on Twitter.
In May, the singer sparked pregnancy rumours when she admitted that she’d been experiencing common symptoms — including food cravings, nausea etc. When fans asked if she would share photos of her baby bump, she said, “Yea in a couple of months. The world ain’t ready yet.”
