Dr. Dre and Nicole Young's marriage has come to a screeching halt and the duo will part ways.
Nicole Young, filled for divorced from Dr. Dre, after two decades of marriage on Monday citing irreconcilable differences. Dr. Dre has responded to wife Nicole Young’s petition for divorce, revealing the couple have a prenuptial agreement in place that could prevent her from getting half of his $800 million fortune.
He filed his response with the court on Wednesday and agreed to pay spousal support. However, as per his documents, it was mentioned that the division of assets should be determined by the couple’s prenuptial agreement, whereas Nicole Young never mentioned anything about the prenuptial agreement in her filing.
Let us tell you, that in Dr. Dre’s paperwork, the date of separation as March 27, weeks after the Coronavirus lockdown began was duly noted.

Besides being a hip-hop singer, Dre is a producer, audio engineer, record executive, entrepreneur, and an actor. He has produced albums for many other rappers too, which include 2Pac, The D.O.C., Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Knoc-turn’al, The Game, Kendrick Lamar, and Anderson Paak.
Previously married to former L.A. Laker Sedale Threatt, Young married the rapper and producer on May 25, 1996. The pair went on to have two children, son Truice, born in 1997, and Truly, born in 2001. They joined Dre’s four children from previous relationships and his late son Andre Young Jr., who died in 2008 at the age of 20.
The couple made their last public appearance at the Tom Ford fashion show with their daughter Truly in February this year.
Things have turned sour, as his wife Young hired high-powered Hollywood attorney Spector, whose notable clients include Jenna Dewan and Amber Heard.
