Saif Ali Khan, to play Lankesh, the world's most intelligent demon in Adipurush. T-Series released the poster on its Twitter handle.
Big Surprise for Prabhas’s fans. Actor Saif Ali Khan to be as Lankesh in Prabhas’s Adipurush. The makers of Prabhas-starrer Adipurush, recently released a new poster of the film, revealing the face of the villain. Actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Lankesh, world’s most intelligent demon in the film.
The official handle of T Series, while introducing the villian, said, ”7000 years ago existed the world’s most intelligent demon! #Adipurush #Prabhas #SaifAliKhan @omraut @ItsBhushanKumar @vfxwaala @rajeshnair06 @retrophiles1 #TSeries.”
Analysing the poster, one can easily interpret the English alphabet A in a huge font. Towards the top end of it, we can see a graphic showing the 10 heads of Saif as Lankesh. The poster also declares that the film will take us back in time around 7000 years ago to reveal the world’s most intelligent demon.

As a reminder, the makers announced a new project called Adipurush, starring Baahubali star Prabhas in the lead role in August this year. Om Raut direction, the movie may recalled Saif played the villain in that film with the role of Uday Bhan Rathode, a Mughal general. Om Raut is the only man who was behind the success of Ajay Devgan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
Apparently, the project is expected to be the adaptation of the epic Ramayana. Baahubali actor, Prabhas, talked about this movie. He in his statement said that every role and every character comes with its own challenges, but portraying a character like this comes with tremendous responsibility and pride. He was seen very excited to portray this character from the epic specially the way director, Om Raut has designed it. He expressed certainty that the youth of the country will shower all their love on his film.
As soon as the official announcement was made, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared the poster. She appreciated the choice by taking Saif as villain. While expressing her feelings, she wrote, ”the most handsome devil in history… my man Saif Ali Khan.”
