Sushant Singh Rajput's elder sister expressed her grief and wrote a heartfelt note on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
One of the most anticipated festivals, Raksha Bandhan celebrates the precious bond between siblings. As per rituals, the sister ties a thread on her brother’s wrist. This year the special day is being celebrated on August 3.
This Rakhi brings grief amongst the sister’s of late Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant is being missed badly by his sister on this holy day. One of Sushant’s eldest sister, Neetu Singh, penned an emotional note to his late borther. Sushant’s eldest sister Neeti Singh was called Rani Didi at home and Sushant’s nickname was Gulshan.
On this very special day, Rani Didi wrote an heartfelt note which clearly expressed her pain of loosing lovely brother. Raksha Bandhan is all about the promises to keep to protect each other by tying the knot. But this year, Sushant’s sisters are deeply broken from inside as they can’t touch and hug their beloved brother.
The letter reads, ”Today is your day. Today is our day. Today is rakhi. It is the first time in 35 years that the puja thal is decorated, the diya is lit, but I cannot perform aarti for you. I cannot tie the rakhi on your wrist. I cannot feed you sweets. I cannot kiss your forehead. I cannot hug you.”
”When you were born life became brighter. You spread joy in your lifetime. But now that you aren’t here, I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to live without you. I never thought I’d see this day — a day without you in it. We learned so much together. But how am I supposed to learn to live without you? You tell me. Forever yours, Rani di.”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. Several political leaders, parties and fans have been pressing for a CBI inquiry into the case since many new developments have been unveiled.
It’s very hard for the family of Sushant’s to overcome with this pain. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, sisters get ready for their brothers, prepare sweet dishes for them, just to make them feel special. However, Sushant’s on-screen sister, from the sets of Pavitra Rishta, shared a photo where she was seeing celebrating Raksha Bandhan, which went viral on Social Media.
