Neha Mehta, who was the on-screen wife of Tarak Mehta, has quit the show. Sunayana Fozdar now to be feature as Tarak's wife.
There’s bad news for fans of the most entertaining show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. as Anjali Mehta is going to be replaced by the successful television actress, Sunayana Fozdar. The reason for this replacement is not yet disclosed. It has been reported that Neha Mehta, aka Anjali Mehta, didn’t resume her shoot after lockdown.
The very popular show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been doing great since its start and has continued to gain good numbers of audience even post the lockdown. It has managed to make its presence in the list of top five most watched shows in Indian television.
Talking of Sunayana Fozdar, she has been a part of television shows like Santaan, Left Right Left, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Qubool Hai, Ek Rishta Saajhedaari Ka, Belan Wali Bahu and many more. Reports state the actress will begin the shoot from today and take over the reigns from Anjali Mehta.

Similarly, Gurucharan Singh, who was playing the energetic role of Raushan Singh Sodhi, was replaced by Balwinder Singh Suri. Suri is best known for playing the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s friend in the film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’. He has done films like ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’ and ‘Dhamaal’.
This time, there is a lot of new faces the audiences would see. Buzz is that veteran actor Rakesh Bedi is going to be a part of the show and might be seen as Taarak Mehta’s boss.
Since, the coronavirus outbreak, the entertainment industry has been effected a lot and we are loosing gems every passing day. On the other hand, we will miss our favourite characters as they are getting replaced. There are some artists upon whom the particular character suits the best.
