A royal biographer claims Harry was fed up with Palace staff and felt they mistreated his bride-to-be Meghan markle before her own wedding.
Prince Harry yelled “what the hell” at the Queen in an outburst, according to a royal biographer. The alleged altercation took place in the lead-up to his wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2018, and centred around a rumoured conflict over the bride’s headpiece that’s become known as “tiara-gate”.
A source close to the Duke of Sussex, 35, has slammed claims that the royal asked the Queen ”what the hell is going on” during a phone call prior to his wedding day and called the allegations ”completely ridiculous”.
It comes after Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie claimed that Prince Harry had made an exasperated call to his grandmother, 94, following an alleged tussle with Her Majesty’s long-time dresser Angela Kelly.

His fury was over a row about what headpiece Meghan was going to wear at the wedding, now known as “tiaragate” — and that Ms Kelly was unable to meet Meghan’s request to try one on at short notice. Scobie revealed: “Harry had to intervene. He called his grandmother and said, ‘I don’t know what the hell is going on. This woman needs to make this work for my future wife.’”
Scobie claims the royal institution would “stop at nothing to make Meghan’s life difficult”, especially over rows surrounding their departing PA and the Duchess’ wedding tiara. However a source has now refuted the claims over what has come to be known as ‘tiaragate’ and told The Telegraph, ”The Queen is probably the person he respects and values most in the world.”
They added that the suggestion the Duke ”yelled” at his grandmother was ”totally untrue, and completely ridiculous”. Although the issue surrounding the tiara has been documented in Mr Scobie’s biography, co-written with Carolyn Durand, it is the first time the alleged phone conversation with the Queen has been reported.
