South actor Vijaylakshmi reportedly attempted suicide after which she was rushed to a hospital. According to reports, the actor was going through a mental harassment. Vijaylakshmi in a statement said that she has been bullied through online sources and was going through stress and mental harassment.
South actor Vijaylakshmi on Sunday tried to commit following social media bullying up by the followers of Naam Tamilar Katchi’s party. She has accused its leader Seeman of mental harassment.
In a video which she posted on social media before attempting to suicide, Vijaylakshmi revealed that she was undergoing extreme mental harassment from the past four months and for the same, she started taking tablets for blood pressure. She said that she tried her best to stay alive for her mother and for her sister. But she has been humiliated by Hari Hadar in the media.
She stated, “Through this video, I want to give a message to my fans that Seeman has tortured me a lot just because I was born in Karnataka. being a woman, I have put up my highest capabilities but now it is out of my mind and hands to handle huge pressure. she went on by adding, “I am from the Pillai community and LTTE leader Prabhakaran also belongs from the same community. Seeman, whatever gains he has achieved in his life it is because of Prabhakaran.” Vijaylakshmi had earlier accused Seeman of making false promises of marriage with her.

The South actor further said that her death may prove a source of an eye-opener for the society. She has put a charge on Seeman and his political party to slut-shaming her via media posts and that after her death, she would not be a slave for anybody anymore. She requested her fans to not let Seeman get away from the case and not let him get any anticipatory bail.
However, the actor has been rescued and is now undergoing treatment in the hospital. She is a popular face in the Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada industry.
