Two burqa clad women were stabbed in Paris by two European women after an altercation about keeping their dogs on a leash took a religious turn.
Police investigate the crime scene and took the two burqa clad women to the hospital.
Two Muslim women were “repeatedly stabbed” with a knife under the Eiffel Tower in Paris by two French women who were outraged by the beheading of a teacher Samuel Paty by an 18-year-old refugee immigrant Abdullakh Anzorov.
The altercation began when the two French women took their dogs for a walk during the night and the two Muslim women confronted them asking the dog to be leashed, as they were scared and dogs are considered to be “unclean” in Islam. The argument got heated up and the women refused to leash their dogs, and hurled racist insults calling them “dirty Arabs” and “go back to your country”.
That is when a woman pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed the two burqa clad Muslim women cross the skull, arm and ribs. The victims are identified to be of Algerian origin named Kenza, 49, and her cousin Amel, who is a few years younger. The victims described the attackers as white women of “European appearance” and are now facing serious allegations of attempt to murder.

They Called Us ‘Dirty Arabs’ And ‘Go Back To Your Country’
The victims claim they were out for a walk at a park at the level of the Eiffel Tower and got scared when the dogs walked towards them. “We had gone out for a walk. At the level of the Eiffel Tower there is a small rather dark park, we took a little tour in it. As we walked, there were two dogs that come towards us,” Kenza said.
“The children got scared. My cousin, who was veiled, asked the two women if it was possible to keep their dogs with them because the children were afraid.”
The two women refused to leash their dogs she said and added, “One of the two took out a knife, she slashed me on the skull, on the back on the ribs and there was a third blow on the arm. They then attacked my cousin,” kenza said.
Kenza is reportedly stabbed six times and is hospitalized with a punctured lung and Amel is suffering from injuries all over her hands.

The French government launched a crackdown on radical Muslims as authorities carried dozens of raids across Paris closing down Mosques, vowing to shut aide groups and threatening to kick out more than 200 people out of France for their religious extremism.
A French Muslim activist Yasser Louati told Al Jazeera that the Emmanuel Macron government is targeting Muslims and spreading Islamophobia. “Muslims are being targeted,” he said adding Macron was “using Islamophobia to power his campaign.”
