Coronavirus: Video of drunk British tourists dancing on top of cars in Spain sparks anger

A group of drunk British men dance on top of cars flouting all social distancing norms while holidaying in Spain.

A viral video of British tourists being drunk and dancing atop of cars without adhering to social distancing has angered Spainiards and expresses concerns over the possibility of a second wave of Coronavirus due to the arrival of indecently behaved tourists after Spain opened its borders for Brittan and other EU countries to revive its tourism economy.

A video footage of British tourists at Magaluf dancing on cars drunk and not wearing masks went viral on the internet and was viewed by a million netizens which sparked anger over the indecent behavior of the Brits.

A person on twitter wrote, ”The Spanish wear masks and care for the elderly and are following every norms to avert a second wave of disaster but the way the British tourists are behaving is quite reprehensible.”

Questions have been raised over the kind of tourists Spaniards have been looking forward to kickstart the revival of their economy.
If party prone tourists are all they need, a few of the Balearic Islands have shied away from attracting tourists who are party addicts and found misbehaving.

An other person on Twitter wrote, ”For this is what the borders are open” and lambasted the English for getting drunk and being out of control. He said that the authorities would be compelled to end up implementing tougher measures to continue running the tourism business.

Last week, the local government of Balearic Island some degree of tough norms to allow parties and gathering, it had made mandatory for everyone to wear masks in all public and indoor spaces except on the beach. Violators are fined around €100 and the maximum outdoor gathering of 70 persons and 30 in indoors respectively.

The lifting of restricting has spiked the number of new infected cases and over the weekend the numbers raised upto 2050 taking the total number of cases to 255, 953.
