Kanye West American rapper is planning on stepping into American presidential elections 2020 as he took to social media on early Sunday morning (IST) to reveal that he has plans on contesting for the 2020 presidential election in the United States.
If being a rapper, producer, record label executive, and fashion designer was enough, Kanye announcement took social media by storm as he revealed his interest in running for presidential elections on America’s Independence Day–the 4th of July. If the American rapper is serious about his interest in running for president’s chair, he is pitted against current US President Donal Trump and Democratic Party’s Joe Biden.

Taking to social media, Kanye tweeted, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and rebuilding our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.” While reactions poured out by many, the rapper received huge backing from his friend and tech millionaire Elon Musk, the chief executive of electric-car maker Tesla and another celebrity known for eccentric outbursts, supported West and tweeted, “You have my full support!”
As the rapper’s announcement came out Kanye quickly became the topic of discussion on Twitter and comments were full of memes and well reactions. There was a section of netizens who imagined the family inside the White House and Kim Kardashian as the First Lady. Commenting on Kanye’s post, a fan wrote, “2020 can’t get any crazier. Let’s get it!!!!!” While another asserted, “I think you might be a tiny bit late for this election.”
