Allyssa Guftason, a former teaching assistant pleaded guilty of having multiple sexual encounters after sending her lingerie and bathsuit snaps to her 14-year-old autistic pupil.

In a rather unusual incident in the US, a teaching assistant has been charged and is due facing a sentence after she had multiple sex acts with one of her autistic student, a minor aged 14.
Allyssa Gustafson 24, admitted to having multiple sexual acts with the autistic teenager while she was working with the Circle Academy in Urbana, Illinois.
It is revealed that she had atleast 5 encounters with the teenager and sent her lingerie and bathing suit pictures to the boy via social media and even visited his home.
The boy’s mother is furious over the incident after her son showed her the snaps and text messages. She said “It was numerous times, it was numerous messages, it was numerous conversation.” She further added that these messages and conversations were sent to him by his teacher.
Commenting on the incident, the boy’s mother said the she had the faintest idea that someone would walk past her when she was out and with this kind of intention with her “underaged son”.

Guftason has pleaded guilty and according to assistant state astronomy, Kristen Alferink, a serious count of criminal sexual assault would be dismissed. However Judge Rob Webber is due to pronounce the sentence for ‘aggravated sexual assault’ on 30th October.
Alferink also briefed the media that she would push the case for a prison term however Guftason’s astronomy is expected to seek for a community sentence. The state law accounts offenders a penalty and a maximum term of 15 years in jail for sexual assault on minors.
The circle academy which admits children with behavioral challenges, in its statement said that the well being of their students was the highest priority and are committed to provide a supportive environment to its pupils.
The newly appointed staff have been carefully selected after their thorough background check and have verified all facts are appropriate in the investigation of the cases.
