US President Donald Trump raised eyebrows at Georgia rally as he shouted at the podium claiming he will fight like hell and hold on to the White House. He claimed Joe Biden's victory is illegitimate and fraudulent.

Trump's rally in support of Republican candidates for the senate was mostly about him complaining about his election loss.

In a raucous rally in Georgia endorsing Republican candidates Kelly Loeffler and David A. Perdue for the senate, US President Donald Trump raised eyebrows as he declared he would “fight like hell” and hold on to the presidency even after the Electoral College votes are confirmed to Joe Biden.

Electoral College voters won by Joe Biden are “not gonna take this White House” he shouted from the podium as supporters cheered at the outdoor rally in Georgia. Trump’s rally was to help Loeffler and Perdue win the senate seats but the president spent little time campaigning for them but spent the majority of time bitterly complaining about his election loss to Joe Biden which he insisted he “won by a lot” and the election “was stolen and rigged” against him.

Trump repeated his claims of voted fraud numerous times at the rally which got cheers from his supporters but the Republican party is split between showing their full-fledged support to the president’s claims, which are debunked by election authorities. Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell and former Attorney General, William Barr said there was no evidence of voter fraud that could change the outcome of the election.

President-elect Joe Biden lashed out at Donald Trump calling him incapable of handling the highest office and spends more time whining instead of working for the American people.

Speaking at a drive-in rally in Atlanta, which followed all social distancing norms, Biden said, ”Trump spends more time whining and complaining that he does working on solving the coronavirus pandemic.” He added dismissively, ”I don’t know why he still wants the job, he doesn’t want to do the work.”

Georgia Senate Predictions

Polls predict Democrats may clinch both the senate seats by a narrow margin making history by winning Georgia, which is Republican base for decades. In the race for the full six-year term, Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff is predicted to win 49% of the votes against Republican Sen. David Perdue’s 48%.

In the special Senate election, Democrat Raphael Warnock is predicted to win 50% of the votes against Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler’s 48%. All eyes are set on the cliffhanger election that can pave way to Democrats holding power in the White House, House of Representatives and the Senate.
